"Prairie Gardens and Adventure Farm is a working 35-acre family farm 25 km north of the city of Edmonton. [Their] goal is to create a sustainable agri-tourism operation [that] will provide local healthy food and good old fashioned fun for folks across the region – and a place to explore and enjoy with your family."

The annual pass not only includes unlimited visits to the farm but also includes ALL the festivals as well (Easter, Halloween, Christmas). On a regular visit my kids have a hard time choosing a favourite but the petting farm is usually on top followed by the kids zone and you can't forget the tractor ride of course. And all the festivals are a MUST! (especially the Haunted Pumpkin festival around Halloween)

The drive is approximately 40-45 minutes from W/SW Edmonton and is an easy drive when you're heading down the Henday. Pack a lunch, head there for the day and grab an ice cream before you leave.
