Prenatal Classes and Newborn Care Essentials

One of the most important things you can do for yourself during pregnancy is gather the information that will prepare you to give birth, and parent your newborn in a way that feels authentic to you. There is no single “right way” to do these things. But, when you do it YOUR WAY, everything feels right in the world.

For this reason, Edmonton Area Family Doulas teaches birth and parenting classes focused on facts and choices! You can’t make choices that feel right to you if you don’t know your options, right? So, register for a class today (links below) and let’s dig through the options!

My husband and I had Newborn Care Essentials class with April. She was fantastic! She provided so much information and helpful tips and videos as well as books and a small gift for us. She did a wonderful job at explaining everything and answered all our questions. The entire session was comfortable and we felt very at ease with her. You can tell that April has lots of experience and is very passionate about what she does. I would hands down recommend her and this class to anyone who is about to have a baby.

My husband and I did a prenatal class with April and she was amazing! We loved the balanced approach between traditional, more medical birth options and understanding alternatives to pain relief and intervention. She was incredibly knowledgeable and gave both sides without bias. I would recommend her prenatal class to anyone, as well as her classes on newborn care and postpartum care for mom. We cannot say enough good things about the information she provides!
